Art of the Steal: On the Trail of World’s Most... →
“Cunning, clever, conniving, and creative,” as one prosecutor would call him, Blanchard eluded the police for years. But eventually he made a mistake. And that mistake would take two officers from the modest police force of Winnipeg, Canada, on a wild ride of high tech capers across Africa, Canada, and Europe. Says Mitch McCormick, one of those Winnipeg investigators, “We had never seen anything...

Big Bang Theory
[group seated in Leonard and Sheldon's apartment, with Penny sitting in Sheldon's seat]
*Audience is bracing themselves*
[Sheldon comes out to greet them.]
*Audience draws in huge breaths, preparing to expel the gas in a violent release of pure ecstasy*
Sheldon: Excuse me Penny, you are sitting in my spot.
*Audience erupts into fits of laughter previously unknown to mankind. The oxygen levels within the studio become exhausted from the monumental bouts of laughter and the audience, still laughing, clammer out into the streets and begin rioting. Rioting is spread across L.A until the episode is aired, four days later martial law is declared within the United States.*

Want it so bad!!!
You know when you see job ads and think, “That seems like my kind of job”. This job isn’t my “kind of” job, it is a job MADE for me. A paid job that combines admin, teaching, stage management and flexible hours? HELL YEAH!!! This isn’t a job, it’s my life!!
Now, I just need the HR manager to agree that I could make this job my bitch. That’s if HR...

ticklethegreenpear asked: Lovin your work on Syn Dave! But I gotta ask, do you know the guy who reads the news like a world-weary 40-something gin-sodden BBC reporter? Is his voice really like that, or is that an affected-accenty thing?

Queensland’s Attorney-General Paul Lucas has rejected all calls to remove “unwanted homosexual advance” as a murder defence. If I make a pass at a straight guy who freaks out, he’s allowed to kill me and get off with only manslaughter. It’s considered a legitimate provocation.
One key reason…

Occupy all the Melbourne!!!
So I went down to Occupy Melbourne today. They had just been evicted and forcibly moved from the city square. There was at least 100~150 police officers, most in riot gear. I was nearly trampled by a police horse and I saw a friend get punched in the face. So, yay for Victoria Police!!!
I’ll post the photos I took later in the night. They’re not great, and don’t represent the...

– My work-mate’s equally pretentious, fake-hippie friend This is after a long discussion on what drugs they prefer, the sex they’ve had lately, and what foods they “can’t” eat. All of this is across our reception desk, in front of clients, and next to me. I quit!
