That awkward moment when the audition you are attending has a glass wall into the room. And you can see a group of guys audition for the role you want. And they’re all better than you….

Fuck acting, I’m going back to stage managing.
….unless I get in.

For once, Centrelink came through for me. Instead of having to borrow money from people to eat, I now have enough money til next pay day…..just But on the other hand, I now need to fill out and hand in a “relationship status” form because I have a new housemate. Makes no sense, but I’m not going to bite the hand that feeds…..very occasionally

Tomorrow, I have an audition for a “play with music” adaptation of A Clockwork Orange. Won’t lie, I’m shitting myself. Partially because I really want to get in, and partially because I haven’t been on-stage for ages yet the director likes what i’ve done. The fact I could conceivably get Alex makes me want it more, and makes my fear of rejection even greater. See, this is why I do Stage Management. None of this audition anxiety bullshit… Zoom
